Nut control

We were sold a bird feeder, on the basis that it's squirrelproof. Well, we were away at the weekend, and so wePink Goddess filled it before we went. When we got back, it was almost empty. We were somewhat baffled. It turns out that when you build a better mousetrap, better mice evolve. And so we checked the bird feeder. If the local birds had eaten a pound or so of nuts, then there should be fat birds sat all over our garden, furiously flapping their suddenly inadequate wings. But no. Instead, we found this:



Squirrelproof? I think not. But I bet we won't get our money back on that one.

You need a more high tech solution. A webcam with squirrel (motion) tracking software connected to a squirrel alarm?
